Conversations with Grace
Sutton Island, Maine
With hosts Sara Pierce and Faith Perkins
We invite you to join us for a unique experience to explore Grace in the beautiful solitude of Sutton Island, Maine. In this retreat, we explore Grace within ourselves, with others and in Nature.
Sutton Island with walking paths (no cars), conservation land, unparalleled views of Mount Desert Island and Cadillac Mountain and rocky beaches, offers us a delightful venue to explore these conversations.
In these times of constant change it is helpful to deepen and clarify our sense of our purpose. We do this in part by deepening our relationship to ourselves. Connecting to the natural world helps us to know ourselves in new ways. It also offers countless ways to feel grounded and steady as we move forward in our lives.
As we look to Nature, we find Nature within us.
As we nourish ourselves – physically, emotionally, energetically, mentally and spiritually –we find Nature affirms us.
As we ask or bodies where Grace abides, Nature offers answers to our questions.
This retreat will provide a relaxed, balanced schedule that includes opportunities to learn new skills and practice self care. Afternoons will be a chance to experience "island time". The general schedule for the retreat is:
Sunday evening: boat ride to arrive at Sutton Island in time for evening dinner and an opening circle
Monday and meditation
yoga or qi gong
Wednesday: return to the mainland after breakfast
*Individual or multihands sessions may be scheduled in the afternoon for an additional fee.
